Twitterrific gains mute functionality
An updated version of The Iconfactory's Twitterrific iOS app has been released in the App Store. New to this release is the ability to mute users, hashtags, and domains by simply tapping and holding. Support is also included for "peeking" at any content that has been hidden, and all settings are automatically synced across devices via iCloud. Other improvements include faster load times when refreshing timelines, timeline previews for Flickr photos, and enhanced scrolling speed. In celebration of the launch, Twitterrific has also been reduced in price by 50 percent, bringing the cost down to $3.
Amazon Mobile adds support for Canadian store
Amazon has released a new version of its mobile shopping app designed for iOS devices. New to v2.3.3 is support for Amazon's Canadian site, Amazon.ca. This adds to the apps existing support for the British, German, French, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese versions of the online shopping hubs. A new promo that allows customers to save 15 percent when subscribing to 5 items arriving in the same month has also been included.
