Briefly: Hitcase SuckR mount, Yahoo homepage redesign

updated 10:58 am EST, Wed February 20, 2013

Hitcase outs new iPhone mount

Hitcase has launched a new iPhone mount that can be attached to any any smooth, flat surface. With two ball joints and a single tightening clamp in the socket arm, the SuckR mount's axles can be loosened simultaneously to quickly change to another viewing angle. In addition, the adjustable Railslide system allows the mount to be used with the iPhone 4, 4S and 5, as well as with the Hitcase and Hitcase Pro.

Yahoo! shows new homepage design

Marissa Mayer, the CEO of Yahoo, has posted a new entry on the company's official blog that introduces the updated Yahoo! homepage. The basic page layout has remained mostly the same, however, the newsfeed has been changed to an infinite scrolling design. Users can customize the newsfeed to provide stories on topics that interest them the most, as well as see what has been shared by friends when logged in with a Yahoo! or Facebook ID. Several newly designed web apps, including weather forecasts and a birthday calendar, are also included with the redesign, as well as optimizations for both smartphones and tablets.
