EA offers iOS games on sale for President's Day

Mix of iPhone, iPad titles up to 90 percent off normal price


As it often does during holidays and other special events, Electronic Arts has launched a sale on a selection of its games for iPhone and iPad in honor of Washington's Birthday, also known as President's Day. Included in the mix of games are some 55 titles, including the Need for Speed series, various Sims 3 games, various versions of Monopoly and other titles. All of the games are now just $1 for the duration of the sale.

Included in the mix of games are some 55 titles, including the Need for Speed series, various Sims 3 games, various versions of Monopoly and other titles. All of the games are now just $1 for the duration of the sale.

Among the titles offered that work on both the iPhone and iPad are Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Burnout Crash, Dead Space, Madden NFL 12, Mass Effect Infiltrator, Monopoly Millionaire, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted, Risk, Shift 2 Unleashed, World Series of Yahtzee and Word Smack. Titles that are iPhone-only include Fight Night Champion, Need for Speed: Undercover, The Sims 3, The Sims 3 Ambitions and World Adventures.

Sale items that are iPad-only include Battleship, Bop It, Coconut Dodge, Command & Conquer Red Alert, Draw Jump HD, The Game of Life, Max and the Magic Marker, Mirror's Edge, Monopoly for iPad, Monopoly Here and Now: The World Edition, NBA Jam, Pictureka, Reckless Racing HD, SimCity Deluxe, Snood, Tetris for iPad, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12, Trivial Pursuit Master Edition and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. EA has not said when the sale will end.
