Tempo SSD cards gain Mac Pro boot support
Sonnet Technologies has upgraded its Tempo SSD and Tempo SSD Pro cards, to now support booting in Mac Pro computers. With the update, users can boot from a Mac Pro even in a RAID 0 configuration with two solid-state drives. The Tempo SSD card uses a 6Gb/sec SATA controller and a PCIe 2.0 interface to deliver read speeds of up to 500MB/sec from a single SSD or 660MB/sec from two SSDs configured as a RAID 0 set. Meanwhile, the Tempo SSD Pro users a higher-performance 6Gb/sec SATA SSD controller that supports sustained read speeds of up to 960 MB/sec from two SSDs configured as a RAID 0 set. The Tempo SSD and Tempo SSD Pro are available now at costs of $150 and $300 respectively.
QuickBooks Online now offered for iPad
An iPad-optimized version of QuickBooks Online has been made available in the App Store. The app offers a number of tools that can help small businesses manage invoices, customers, estimates, and expenses. Full use of the app requires customers to subscribe to either a monthly or yearly service, however, a free 30-day trial is offered to all new customers.

Bootable with caveat..
You must have a Mac Pro 3,1 or newer to boot the TempoSSD or Pro. And the TempoSSD card has to have serial that starts with B. Anyone that has earlier A model, has to wait for firmware patch.
