Save up to 27% off Mac Pro


At Apple's online store, save up to 27 percent off Mac Pro models. Starting as low as $1,819, after a $680 price cut, is the Mac Pro with a 2.8GHz Intel Xeon Quad-Core processor with 3GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. A $360 discount is available on the refurbished Mac Pro with a 3.2GHz Intel Quad-Core Xeon processor, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $2,139.

Save $850 on the refurbished Mac Pro with a 2.4GHz Intel Xeon processor, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $2,649. A $560 discount is offered on the refurbished Mac Pro with a 2.4GHz Intel 12-Core Xeon processor, 12GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $3,239.

At the high end of the pricing scale is the refurbished Mac Pro with a 3.06GHz Intel 12-Core Xeon processor, 12GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $5,269.

AppleInsider.com's Mac Price guide provides a complete listing of the lowest prices on Macs from all the major online retailers. Save $213 on the Mac Pro with a 3.2GHz Intel Xeon processor with 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, it was $2,499, but has been cut to $2286 with free Super Saver shipping. In related news, JR.com has the Mac Pro with a 2.4GHz Intel 12-core Xeon processor, 12GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive -- formerly $3,800, it is now only $3,629.88.

    Maybe no one pays attention...

    It's possible, I suppose, that there will be some folks who see the discounts on refurb'd low-end Mac Pros and will buy before the new ones are announced. As Apple can't sell Mac Pros in Europe after this month, you have to believe there's something on the way pretty soon.
