Apple to hold Town Hall meeting at 10AM Pacific

updated 10:28 am EST, Thu January 24, 2013

Q&A session to feature pre-submitted questions

Apple has scheduled an internal "Town Hall" meeting for today at 10AM, according to an email memo by CEO Tim Cook, sent out to workers last night. 9to5Mac notes that the event will feature a Q&A session, for which people will be able to submit questions in advance via AppleWeb. It's unmentioned whether any live questions will be allowed.

A similar meeting was held last year following first-quarter results. The proceedings of Apple's Town Halls are usually kept quiet, although it's not believed that any major facts will be revealed today. The meeting itself will be hosted in the De Anza 3 auditorium; people not there in person will be able to watch a live stream "throughout Cupertino and at many other Apple locations," Cook writes.
