Retina MBP Battery replacement issues

Recently in the MacNN forums, one Fresh-Faced Recruit expressed extreme frustration with their response from Apple about a battery replacement for a Retina MacBook Pro, now they are looking for a way to deal with replacing the battery on their own -- and have turned to the forums for some advice. Yesterday "Waragainstsleep" was having some trouble getting iMessage to work with his iMac running 10.8.2, read more in the thread titled "Weird Bug in Messages."

Today Junior Member "porrid" was trying to figure out how to stop iDVD from starting up after loading a DVD into their iMac, click here to read more and join in. Fresh-Faced Recruit "thoughtMotion" wants to install some more RAM into their Mac Pro 8 Core from 2010, and they were wondering what would be the optimal configuration, read more here. Junior Member "Geoff" can't figure out why there are no thumbnails in the App store when using their iPad, join in here if you can offer any suggestions.
