New budget Curve to include FM Radio, BlackBerry OS 7.1

Research In Motion has revealed a new budget-level BlackBerry smartphone in its range, running the BlackBerry 7.1 operating system. The Curve 9315 will roll out later this month on January 23rd for T-Mobile in the United States, a week ahead of the phone manufacturer's BlackBerry 10 launch events.

The 3G handset has a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi connectivity for voice and data, and an internal storage expandable to 32GB via microSD, according to BGR. A built-in FM radio, a dedicated BlackBerry Messenger key, preloaded apps for Facebook and Twitter, and the Social Feeds 2.0 app are also included in the handset.

The BlackBerry Curve 9315 will be available for pre-order for T-Mobile business customers from January 16th, and will be in stores from the 23rd. It will cost $50 upfront, followed by a $10 per month Equipment Installment Plan charge.
