Galaxy Note to gain Multi Window support, Paper Artist app

Samsung has confirmed it will be putting Jelly Bean onto the original Galaxy Note, confirming a rumor leaked back in August. The news of the Android upgrade comes at the same time as that of the company's premium suite, which it previously confirmed would head to the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note 10.1.

A page for the update within the Galaxy Note microsite, spotted by Engadget, shows it will receive support for Multi Window, pop-up notes, video, and browser windows; the Photo Note and Photo Frame apps, a simplified cropping system, and handwriting support on S Planner and the Email client. S Note has been enhanced with more templates and effects, and the Paper Artist app also makes the transition to the Note, allowing users to edit photographs with the stylus. A section towards the bottom shows that Android 4.1 will form part of the update, with Google Now being the featured item.

No details have been released relating to when the update will be rolled out to Note owners, bu the presence of such a page suggests it will be made available in the near future.
