IMDb for iOS gains new iPad interface
The mobile IMDb app for iOS devices has been updated with a new iPad interface that showcases more movies, TV shows and celebrities. New features in the iPad version include personalized movie and TV recommendations, a new full-page Watchlist, and support for browsing through featured photo galleries and lists. Both iPhone and iPad versions have also received improved sharing support for iOS 6, as well as access to individual TV episode details.
Rockmelt browser comes to iPhone
Rockmelt has updated its iOS web browser with support for the iPhone. Originally released as an iPad exclusive in October, Rockmelt is a news aggregator that displays articles as an endless list of tiles. The iPhone version supports all iPhones running iOS 6 and includes new tile and sidebar designs optimized for the iPhone 5. Other features new to the update includes faster initial startup, smoother scrolling, and additional gestures.
