Gaming tablet with removable controllers to house Core i5, i7

Razer has revealed specifications for its long-awaited gaming tablet. Project Fiona, last seen by Electronista at CES and also appearing at the FCC without the side controllers, will have an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor powering it, after visitors to the company's Facebook page made decisions on its list of internals.

The crowdsourced decision-making has also decided it will have a mid-tier discrete GPU, claimed to be capable of "Hardcore PC gaming on the go at Medium settings," have up to double the thickness and weight of an iPad, and also detachable controllers. Previous details have shown the tablet's battery will be rated at 5600mAh while the controllers will have their own 2800mAh power source.

The 10.1-inch Windows 8 gaming tablet has been requested to be priced at between $1,300 and $1,500 by followers of the brand, though this may not reflect the final price of the product when it gets released.
