Muse syncs with Galaxy devices to play MP3s

Samsung today announced the availability of a new miniature music player, the Galaxy Muse. The Galaxy Muse can sync with Galaxy devices in order to give owners a lightweight way to keep their tunes with them when on the go. Thanks to the new Muse Sync Android app, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II owners can sync music to the Muse without having to connect to their PC at all.

The Muse has is a small, lightweight MP3 player with a rounded design, available in either Pebble Blue or Marble White. It has 4GB of memory, and its battery allows for up to six hours of play time. The Galaxy Muse connects to the Galaxy S III or Galaxy Note II via the included connector cable (USB to 3.5mm headset jack).

The Muse is capable of playing MP3, WMA, FLAC, and OGG files. It is compatible with songs purchased from Apple's iTunes store, so long as they have been converted from AAC to MP3 format. It is also compatible with songs from Amazon's MP3 store, as well as songs from Google Music, so long as a user downloads an actual copy of the song.

Samsung's Galaxy Muse is now available for purchase at Samsung Mobile. It retails for $50.
