Jelly Bean comes to Galaxy Note 10.1 plus Premium Suite

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 users eagerly awaiting their update to Android 4.1 'Jelly Bean' are in for another treat. Samsung has also baked in the latest version of its multi-tasking, multi-window capable Premium Suite into the update as well. Some users have already started to receive the update as it starts to go live globally, extending the functionality of their tablets considerably as the animated video embedded highlights.

When Galaxy Note 10.1 owners receive the TouchWiz flavored version of Jelly Bean, they will also be able to open, move around and resize up to 16 applications at once. Apps can also be viewed in a dual-view mode, similar to the Snap function in Windows, allowing users to work in two apps simultaneously, sharing content between them.

Air View allows users to quickly preview information from emails, to calendar events and photos in albums without opening the files completely, which is remiscient of Quick Look in Mac OS X. Additional features include Easy Clip that works with S Pen to take screen grabs with quick access to the most likely apps that the screen capture will be used.

When their Galaxy Note 10.1 update goes live, users will also enjoy enhanced handwriting capabilities as well as better S Note, Photo Note and Paper Artist apps.
