MacMall's 60-hour sale: MacBook Pro roundup

updated 08:57 am EST, Thu November 22, 2012

MacBook Pros at Black Friday prices

Take advantage of Black Friday deals early at MacMall's 60-hour Black Friday sale going on now. While a wide selection of items are featured, the price cuts on MacBook Pros rival Apple's own Black Friday sale prices. Free shipping is included on all US orders over $25, and special savings on Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac are also available.

Kicking off the Black Friday offers is the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro. It features a 2.5GHz Intel dual-core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, while it carries a list price of $1199, it has been reduced by $101 to $1,098, which is $68 less than the lowest price we have seen elsewhere. The Retina 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage has decreased in price by $101 as well, from $1,699 to $1,598.

MacMall may also match (or beat) Apple's Black Friday price on the 15.4-inch Retina MacBook Pro with a 2.3GHz Intel quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. The MSRP of this base level model is $2,199, however a $151 price break brings it down to $2,048.

As always, the steepest price breaks are on last year's models, such as the 17-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.4GHz Intel quad-core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 750GB hard drive, which was $2,499, but has been reduced by $549 to $1,949. Buyers can save $649 through a combination of instant savings and a mail-in-rebate on the 17-inch MacBook Pro with anti-glare display, Thunderbolt port, 2.5GHz Intel quad-core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 750GB hard drive, now $2,199.
