Razer ships Ouroboros ambidextrous gaming mouse

updated 05:29 am EST, Tue November 20, 2012

Adjustable mouse capable of tracking at 8200dpi

Peripheral manufacturer Razer has started shipping its Ouroboros ambidextrous gaming mouse. The highly adjustable wireless mouse was originally revealed in July alongside the BlackWidow keyboard line, and retains all of its customizable parts, designed to accommodate the vast majority of different hand sizes and shapes.

The back palm rest can be shifted back up to 0.9 inches, making the mouse longer and more comfortable for those with bigger hands, and can also be tilted for comfort. Extra included side panels can be installed to provide a finger rest on each side, preventing fingers from being dragged on a mousing surface. The main dual-sensor system uses a combination of a laser and an optical sensor for 8200dpi tracking, with sensitivity adjustable by a dedicated DPI clutch trigger, and another 11 programmable buttons can be mapped to various in-game macros.

The Razer Ouroboros is on sale now in various regions, priced at $130.
