New Jelly Bean flavor headed to Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus users

The latest version of Google's Android mobile operating system is now being pushed to users. Android 4.2 'Jelly Bean'updates for Nexus 7 are rolling out to users, although some need to clear a cache file before the update will appear. Owners of the Galaxy Nexus who purchased the unlocked model with HSPA+ through the Google Play store are also starting to receive notification of the update.

Nexus 7 users who don't see the update available for download can usually resolve the issue by turning off Wi-Fi and then navigating to the 'Apps' list in 'Settings'. Here they will need to select the 'Google Services Framework' found under the 'All' column. Clear the cache by tapping 'Force stop.' Then, users will need to reactivate Wi-Fi and navigate back to 'About' in 'Settings' where the update notification should be available.

Android 4.2 'Jelly Bean' brings with it additional performance enhancements as well as new features. For the first time, tablet users will be able to set up multiple user accounts, allowing different members of the same family to share a tablet while retaining their privacy. Expandable and actionable notifications have been added, as well as more flexible widget functionality. Marquee features include a new Photo Sphere camera function for 360-degree panoramas and a new Gesture Typing keyboard that allows users to swipe word inputs.

On my Nexus 7, running stock 4.1.2. Tried the Google services frame "force stop" method. No luck. Rebooted and tried again, still no update available. Anyone having any luck with this?
