HiRise MacBook stand released by Twelve South

Twelve South has launched a new laptop stand designed specifically for MacBooks. The HiRise is a height-adjustable stand that can elevate a laptop from as little as a few inches off a desk, up to half a foot. Featuring a brushed metal design, the stand can accommodate all current MacBook models thought the use of silicone padded V-shaped arms that grip the bottom of the laptop. The HiRise for MacBook is available online and in Apple Stores nation wide for $70.

Hard Shell Case from Hard Candy coming in November

A new Hard Shell Case for the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro has been launched by Hard Candy Cases. The form-fitting shell comes in five colors and features a corner snap design that surrounds the entire device. The case can easily be snapped on and off without needing to bend the plastic, and provides full access to all of the laptops keys, sensors, and ports. The Hard Shell Case for the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro is expected to ship in late November for $60.
