Small speaker controlled by app provides 20 watts of power

JBL has unveiled the newest in its line of audio streaming devices. The JBL SoundFly Air plug-in speaker is an Apple AirPlay enabled audio speaker. The unit's companion application adds music browsing, cover art, provides volume and tone adjustment, and allows for full customization of the digital signal processing to tailor the sound to the space.

The SoundFly has a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz with signal-to-noise ratio of 80dB. The unit is 190mm (7.48 inches) deep, 92mm (3.62 inches) high, and weighs .42kg (.9 pounds). On standby, the unit sips .5W, with full power usage at 30W. The JBL SoundFly Air is available for pre-order now for $199 at the JBL online store.
