Letterpress exceeds 15 million words played
One week after its release, Letterpress has had more than 15 million words played by users around the world. Developed by Twitter creator Loren Brichter, Letterpress is a word finding game where players attempt to control the majority of letter tiles on a 5x5 board. Brichter has also announced that he is nearly finished the first update for the game, which expands the games capabilities with some new features.
C-3P0 and R2-D2 bird types shown
Rovio has released a new teaser video that shows off two of the new birds featured in the upcoming Angry Birds: Star Wars. Set to release on November 8, Angry Birds: Star Wars will feature C-3PO and R2D2 themed birds, each with their own abilities. The C-3P0 bird can explode sending fragments of metal flying in every direction, while R2-D2 can release bolts of electricity in multiple directions.
