updated 01:17 pm EDT, Wed October 24, 2012

Bluetooth adapter brings wireless sound to any RCA or 3.5mm speaker

Harman Kardon just outed its BTA 10 Bluetooth adapter that promises to let users wirelessly stream music from their portable devices to nearly any home theater receiver or sound dock. It can pair with up to eight Bluetooth devices, and is just under two by two inches in size. A blue LED light will flash when the BTA 10 is looking for a Bluetooth connection and remains lit once it's established.

The BTA 10 ships with RCA cables and a 3.5mm auxiliary cable, either of which can connect to the output device. Supported portable device platforms include Android, iOS, and Windows-powered smartphones and tablets. The BTA 10 is now shipping, priced at $59.
