Drop Squad for Maschine
Native Instruments has launched a new Maschine expansion that highlights the deep sounds of dubstep and bass music. Drop Squad includes 35 kits and 120 patterns that cover a variety of drum sounds, low-end wobbles, FX, stabs, sweeps, and basses. More than 50 Massive presets are also included, along with an additional 10 special kits that feature tribal and mechanical one-shots. Drop Squad can be purchased for $59, while a mobile version for iMaschine is also available through the apps built-in store for $1.
Kirigami iPhone 5 case released
A new line of iPhone 5 cases featuring 3D designs has been launched by SwitchEasy. The Kirigami line includes six different color options, each which features a reversible metallic insert that allows users to change the cases accent colors. The Kirigami case is priced at $25, which includes two screen protectors, a back protector, a microfiber cloth, and two dock connector protectors.
