Skype WiFi iOS app updated


Amazon has announced that the Kindle Owners' Lending Library will be launching in the UK, Germany, and France later this month. The lending service gives Amazon Prime members access to over 200,000 books that can be borrowed for free as frequently as one book per month, with no due dates. Any independent authors or publishers using Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) who enroll their books in KDP Select can be included in the in the UK, Germany and France libraries, as well as the existing US library.

iOS Skype gets Wi-Fi update

Skype has released an updated version of its Skype WiFi app that lets users connect to WiFi hotspots worldwide. Users are only required to pay for the time they use and have no upload or download limits. Version 1.2 is now a Universal pap that runs on both the iPhone and iPad. Support has also been added for new WiFi network providers, as well as for iOS 6.
