Tech adapted for Lion, Mountain Lion
Developer Zengobi has launched Curio 8, a new version of its OS X planning software. The app handles tasks such as mind-mapping, notetaking, and task management. The v8 upgrade is said to represent a massive overhaul, with a redesigned interface, and a new engine tailored to Lion and Mountain Lion. On the MacBook Pro, the software now supports Retina-level graphics.
Some other enhancements include figure stacks, mindmap boundaries, inline PDF annotations, and a split view for the idea space. Zengobi also promises a number of enhancements, such as better Calendar sync.
Curio 8 costs $100 new, or $50 as an upgrade. Also available is a free trial version which contains every feature, but expires after 25 days. In all cases OS X 10.7.4 is required.
