Samsung October 11 event invites for 'little sensation' sent

Samsung Galaxy S III Mini launch possible

Samsung has sent invites out for a media event in Germany. An invitation sent to tells of an event taking place on October 11th, suggesting the launch of "something small [that] will be really big" and to "get ready for a little sensation." Despite the lack of product naming, the leaflet does give the appearance of a launch for a rumored Samsung Galaxy S III Mini.

The flier unfolds to about 32 times the size of the envelope it originally came in, which when coupled with the initial text on the reverse located on one of the two outermost sides when folded, suggests something size related. The large S logo in the middle of the circular has also been used as part of the Galaxy S branding, making whatever will be announced an addition to the Galaxy S range. The mentions of size could also be a callback to an event last year, where the line "Something BIG is coming" was fairly prominent.

Aside from the Galaxy S III Mini speculation, the event could also be for the rumored Galaxy Music. A leak last week showed it as having a 3-inch, 320x240QVGA LCD screen and 4GB of storage expandable to 40GB. Running on Android 4.0, a single and dual-SIM version is planned, although the low specifications make it an unlikely candidate for a major launch.
