Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition coming to Mac in November

updated 06:25 pm EDT, Tue October 2, 2012

Will include all DLC releases

A port of Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham City is set to come to the Mac in November, Feral Interactive has announced. Mac gamers will get the Game of the Year Edition, which includes all of the DLC expansions for free. Among these are the Catwoman and Harley Quinn's Revenge mission packs, plus extra challenge levels, and the option of using Nightwing or Robin during the challenges.

Preorders aren't yet available. In the core game players assume the role of Batman after he finds himself trapped in Arkham City, a rundown part of Gotham transformed into a small prison colony. Using violence and puzzle-solving, players confront a number of famous villains, such as the Joker, the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and Hugo Strange; as a sequel to Arkham Asylum the game introduces a more free-roaming structure, and new gadgets and combat options.

I might pick this up. I enjoyed most of Arkham Asylum, except for the crap boss fights.

It's basically the same thing, except the main storyline is shorter and there is more free world stuff.
