New LaserJet models have built-in document management

HP announced today the availability of two new LaserJet printers aimed at small to midsize businesses. The LaserJet Pro 200 color M251 and MFP M276 models are designed to increase office productivity and efficiency with an array of built-in apps from HP. Availability of the two models varies by country.

The LaserJet Pro 200 M251 series provides fast color printing in a desktop printer package. It features a touchscreen and walk-up USB port for immediate access to many types of print jobs, allowing users to manage documents directly on the device. Its HP Auto Wirelessconnect feature also simplifies wireless printing connections.

The LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 is aimed at streamlining paper-based tasks. It features built-in printing, scanning, copying, and fax functionality, all of which are accessible directly from the color touchscreen and the walk-up USB port. It can also connect to cloud storage, allowing users to print or access documents saved to an internal network or email.

Both devices come with HP Business Apps, which allow direct access to web content; HP ePrint for remote printing; and Wireless Direct for Wi-Fi enabled printing from mobile devices. They also feature HP Smart Install, allowing users to set up the devices without the need for install CDs, and Auto-On/Auto-Off, which helps keep energy costs low.

Further information on the LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 and M251 are available at HP's site. The M251 retails for $329, while the MFP M276 sells for $449.

HP printers are terrible. They come with the worst software possible and the toner cartridges last for a month and cost 1/3 of the printer.

Not sure why this is on Macnn.com since HP printers sometimes dont have OS X drivers which make their printers worthless.
