Galaxy Express, Galaxy Rugby Pro, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Tab

AT&T announced today that it would be adding four new devices to the range of 4G LTE compatible gadgets it supports: three Samsung smartphones and one Samsung tablet. The wireless provider will, over the next few months, be supporting the Samsung Galaxy Express, Galaxy Rugby Pro, Galaxy Note II, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The carrier has not given specific dates for the rollout of each device, but they are all expected to debut in the coming months.

The Galaxy Express features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 200mAh battery. It also has a 5MP rear-facing camera.

The Rugby Pro is said to be built to military specifications, with a shock resistant and dust proof chassis. It has a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display and a 5MP rear-facing camera capable of recording in 720p. The Rugby Pro has full device encryption and EAS corporate email support, and it will have access to Enhanced Push-to-Talk functionality when AT&T launches the service.

The Galaxy Note II is the follow-up to Samsung's surprise hit Galaxy Note. It features a bigger screen, narrower design, and improved battery life compared to its predecessor. Its software has also been upgraded to take better advantage of its S Pen stylus. Beneath the 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, the Note II packs a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor with an integrated graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the follow up to Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1. The new version features a 10.1-inch display and 7000mAh battery in addition to its 4G LTE connectivity. It comes preloaded with Samsung's Media Hub, Smart Remote, and AllShare Play apps, as well as on-device encryption and VPN access.
