iPhone 5 User Guide makes reference to Apple-made dock

Product conspicuously missing after iPhone 5 launch
The official iPhone 5 User Guide (PDF) makes references to an official "iPhone Dock" for the device, even though Apple hasn't updated earlier docks to fit the new Lightning connector format, notes MacDailyNews. One reference can be found on page 7, where the manual states that the 5's bundled Lightning-to-USB cable "can also be used with the iPhone Dock (sold separately)." Another is on page 34, claiming that a 5 can be connected "to your computer using the included cable and the Dock, available separately."
This year marks the first in which Apple hasn't launched a new iPhone and a compatible dock at the same time. It's uncertain if the language in the User Guide means that a dock is still planned, or that the company simply left the language in from earlier documents. Alternately it could mean that Apple was working on a dock at one point, but scrapped it at the last minute.

Check out ipadframe.com for a simple dock. They tell me that they'll be taking orders next week. Price unknown.
