Includes iOS 6 support, pre-built UI controls
Facebook has posted the final, official version of its v3.1 SDK for iOS. The software is meant to help integrate Facebook features into third-party apps. The focus of the v3.1 update is on iOS 6; it now, for instance, integrates with iOS 6's single sign-in support.
The other major addition is the inclusion of premade interface elements, such as login buttons, a Friend Picker, and a Places Picker. API support has been improved as well, including a new FBSession API for user sessions, and native batched API requests. Bundled with the code is a beta version of Facebook's ad analytics tool, used to track the effectiveness of ads.
