Adds new Maps app, Passbook, wider Siri support
As anticipated, Apple has released the completed version of iOS 6 to the public. The firmware is available through iTunes 10.7 or as an over-the-air update, and varies in size based on the target device. For an over-the-air update, a person has to go to the General section of iOS 5's Settings app.
While Apple has advertised iOS 6 as having over 200 new features, just a handful are major. These include Facebook integration, a Panorama option in Camera, a new Passbook app for coupons and tickets, and the replacement of the original Maps app with a Google-less redesign. The iPad has finally been given a native Clock app, and in the case of the third-generation model, the first non-iPhone release of Siri. New Siri functions include app launching, movie listings, and sports scores.

I just hope they've finally fixed the problem with smart playlists via iTunes match where none of your smart playlists show up in the correct track order on an iOS device. Either iOS 6 or the new iTunes needs to fix this. Very contrary to the "it just works" mantra.
