MOTU driver update offers iPad control

Rhapsody has issued a notice to its customers advising them to update to Rhapsody version 2.2.13 before updating to iOS 6. The upcoming Rhapsody release will include a new feature that automatically restores any downloaded songs automatically after updating to a new version of iOS. If a user updates their device before the new Rhapsody app is released they will still be able to restore all of their downloaded content, but will have to do so manually. The updated Rhapsody app has already been submitted to Apple for approval and is expected to be released very soon.

MOTU drive update brings wireless iPad control

An updated driver for MOTU audio interfaces that enables wireless control of on-board CueMix mixing features has been released. Available as a free download, the latest CueMix FX software includes TouchOSC templates for the iPad that give users complete control over the CueMix mixing and effects processing in their MOTU audio interface from anywhere in their home or studio Wi-Fi network. All CueMix-equipped MOTU interfaces are supported, including current and legacy models.
