iPhone 4 goes free on contract
In the wake of the announcement of the iPhone 5, the iPhone 4 and the 4S have dropped in price. The iPhone 4S is now $99 on a two-year contract, while the iPhone 4 is free under the same terms. Only a 16GB 4S is available however, and iPhone 4 buyers are limited to an 8GB model.
Apple has also set out prices and shipping dates for its Lightning-to-30-pin adapters. A basic adapter is priced at $29, while one with a 0.2m cable is $10 extra. In both cases the gear will ship sometime in October.
