Questions about anti-virus software and more

This week in the MacNN forums one forum member by the name of Selowitch is having problems getting their iPhone to connect to their HP printer, even though they can connect with an iPad, read more here. Yesterday Sadpandas started a thread about needing to transfer contacts and e-mail to a clean install of Mac OS X 10.8, and is concerned about using Migration Assistant, read more and provide advice here.

One forum member is wondering if it's smart to have some sort of anti-virus software on Macs, click here to give advice. Earlier this week poster Dugost started a thread regarding issues with an iPod, in which case random album art that was never added or downloaded keeps being displayed. Junior Member Wayland is trying to decide if it's a good idea to equip a 2009 2.2GHz MacBook Pro with a OCZ Agility 4 256GB SSD in order to increase speed, join in here.
