Adobe Revel 1.5 now in Mac, iTunes App Stores

updated 09:03 pm EDT, Thu August 23, 2012

Update brings photo albums, web sharing

Adobe announced today an update to its Adobe Revel photography app, bringing it to version 1.5. Adobe Revel merges photo management and editing with cloud storage, giving users one place to store photos accessible from any OS X or iOS device. The update is available for free in both the Mac App Store and the iTunes App Store.

The update to version 1.5 brings with it the ability to organize photos in albums, which are then automatically accessible from any device running Revel. Users can also add captions to photos, view photos in a library grid mode, and link Revel to their Facebook or Google IDs. The update also allows users to share private albums on the web through AdobeRevel.com.

Both the Mac app and the iOS app are free to download. New customers will receive a 30-day complimentary subscription to the service. Thereafter, an Adobe Revel subscription account is available for $6 per month.
