MacProcess opens new social network
MoneyBag, an upcoming finance tool designed for OS X, is nearing completion and will be entering into a private beta stage next week. Developers are currently looking for anyone willing to help test the software over the next few weeks. Everyone that is selected for the private beta will receive early access to the software, as well as a free licence ($30 value) for the app when it launches in September.
Social network for Mac professionals
A new social network geared towards professional Mac users has been launched online. MacProcess provides access to community discussion boards where users can seek out advice on various topics relating to both Macs and iOS devices. Currently the network can only be accessed through a web browser, however, both iPhone and iPad apps are in the works and are expected to launch soon. In hopes of avoiding spammers, access to the community requires users to pay a one time subscription fee. Until the end of 2012 this fee will remain at $10.
