FileWave outs new Lightning utility
Bracketron has launched a new charging cable that integrates both Apple 30-pin and Micro USB connectors. The Universal Charge/Sync Cable measures three feet in length and can charge a device from any USB port. It can be purchased individually for $20, or as a part of the $40 Travel Power Kit that also includes USB car and wall chargers.
FileWave launches free imaging utility
Lightning, a free new imaging tool that can be used to create and deploy never-booted ASR images, has been launched by FileWave. Once a base image has been created, any PKG or self-contained OS X app can be added and sorted in the software's drag and drop interface. Support is also included for Mountain Lion's Notification Center, as well as for deploying packages through a Mac's Thunderbolt port.
