Verizon has high-end Share Everything plans not on website

updated 11:06 am EDT, Wed August 8, 2012

Verizon Share Everything plans top out at 18GB and $150 per month

In addition to the official Share Everything plans Verizon offers to all of its customers and openly advertises them online, the carrier has five higher-end ones as well. The new plans offer more data, with the top offering priced at $150 per month and paired with 18GB of data, ComputerWorld revealed. The original plans start at $50 for 1GB and top out at $100 for 10GB and allow this data to be shared with up to 10 devices.

The new plans include 12GB for $110 per month, 14GB for $120, 16GB for $130, 18GB for $140 and 18GB for $150. There seems to be a 20GB option too, though pricing isn't being revealed. These tiers were available since June, mainly through customer service phone operators and in stores.

The plans were kept off the website because Verizon wanted to keep options simple and the majority of customers use less than 2GB per month anyhow.

Verizon also adds a monthly cost per device in addition to the shared data cost, with smartphones costing $40 per month, basic phones $30, a USB modem $20 and a tablet $10.
