Pantech Star Q 4G LTE for Verizon leaked by tipster

Pantech Star Q for Verizon shows up in early photos, may cost $100 on contract

The first images of the Verizon-bound Pantech Star Q 4G LTE handset have appeared online thanks to an anonymous source. The handset is due to replace the Pantech Breakout and was previewed by an FCC filing from earlier this year. The 4G-capable handset should come in at $100 on-contract at Verizon, though this is yet to be confirmed.

AndroidAndMe shared the images of the phone, along with some hardware specs. They are believed to include a 1.5GHz, dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU along with a four-inch, 854x480-pixel display. There is otherwise a three-megapixel rear camera and a lower-resolution front camera. Android 4.0.4 will be preloaded onto the device. The phone slides open horizontally to reveal a five-row hardware QWERTY keyboard. Wireless connections for music and short-range file transfer are handled by Bluetooth 4.0.

Seemingly, the only piece of key information missing is a ship date for the device.
