IK Multimedia boosts SampleTank to 1.2

IK Multimedia has announced the availability of version 1.2 of SampleTank for iOS. The update for both the regular and free versions is available as a free download that adds support for MIDI program change, along with controller editing of all edit strip knobs. Free instruments are also available with the update. The full version of the app is available for $20 with 136 instruments and 1000 patterns included. A free version is available with eight sounds plus their patterns. An additional 22 expansion sound packs are available as in-app purchases starting at $5 per pack.

STM Bags Half Shell protective case supplements Apple SmartCover

McGraw Hill expands student line with Anatomy and Physiology REVEALED

A cadaver dissection application has been released by McGraw-Hill higher education. The Anatomy and Physiology REVEALED ($13) app offers students a way to learn about the human body and function through five modules that grant virtual access to the skeletal and muscular systems; the nervous system; the cardiovascular, lymphatic and respiratory systems; the digestive, urinary, reproductive & endocrine systems; and body orientation, tissues, cells and chemistry. The initial content that comes with the core application is the skeletal and muscular module, with additional modules available as in-app purchases for $13 each.
