Service now becoming standard worldwide
Apple could officially debut iTunes Match in Poland and Hungary as soon as today, according to tips received by 9to5Mac. One comments that on the 18th, the Polish iTunes Store was updated with terms of use mentioning Match. Local reports meanwhile say Match is coming to Hungary at a cost of 25 euros per year; neither Poland nor Hungary, however, have been added to Apple's official list of iTunes Match regions.
Several other regions are rumored to be getting Match as well, but the countries involved haven't been named. Access to the service has expanded rapidly since it launched last year; while it was initially US-only, it's currently available in 55 countries, making Poland and Hungary some conspicuous omissions. A Match subscription lets users upload their personal music collections and stream and/or download them to multiple devices, regardless of whether or not the content is sold on the iTunes Store.
