iHome iP76 speaker tower pulses to music with up to seven color LEDs

iHome has released its first docking speaker tower with color-changing LEDs, the iP76. There are 16 LED clusters that can light up in seven colors and fade, strobe, or pulse in tune with the music, or simply light up in a selected color. At the top is an iPod/iPhone dock that will charge the devices as well as play audio content from them.

Available colors include indigo, blue, green, white, orange, red, violet, and yellow. There is also a component video output present for outputting an iOS device's video to a connected display or HDTV. Bluetooth technology lets users connect wirelessly to Apple or other music players. Finally, a 3.5mm auxiliary input jack offers yet another connection option.

There are four speakers built into the tower, each enclosed in Reson8 chambers. The speaker is compatible with iHome's apps and can double as an alarm clock. A remote control is included. Unfortunately, the iPhone 4S doesn't seem to be supported.

The iP76 is now shipping, priced at $200.
