Final Draft details Mountain Lion support
Osmos for iPad, a physics-based game where players must grow by absorbing smaller motes, has been updated with a new multiplayer mode and Retina support. With the v6.0 update players can now compete against their friends in six different arenas, Ambient, Warped Chaos, Impasse, Solar Epicycles, and Antimatter Impasse. Multiplayer games can be played locally over Bluetooth or WiFi, while Game Center provides matchmaking support. Other new features include 15 multiplayer-specific achievements, an optional handicap system, and th ability to tweet achievements and challenges.
Final Draft details plans for OS X Mountain Lion support
In preparation for the upcoming launch of OS X Mountain Lion, Final Draft has released a statement outlining its plans to support the new OS. A free update for registered Final Draft 8 users is available online, and addresses several compatibility issues with Mountain Lion. Meanwhile, Final Draft 5 through 7 will not be supported on Mountain Lion and will require customers to upgrade to version 8 for $80. Finally, Final Draft AV will also not be supported on Apple's latest OS and there is currently no plans to add support in the future.
