Red Giant teams up with CrumplePop

Hex has launched a new iPhone 4/4S case that features a shielded internal storage compartment for an RFID-enabled card. The Hex Stealth Case offers protection for the back and sides of the device, and features raised corners that improve screen protection. RFID-enabled cards stored within the case can continue to be used for tap purchases without creating any cross-interference with the iPhone's antenna. The Hex Stealth case can be ordered online for $35 in both black and white models.

Red Giant Carousel for FCP X launched

CrumplePop has announced that it has been working alongside Red Giant to create several new tools designed for Final Cut Pro X. The first tool, Red Giant Carousel, provides users with 10 vintage camera effects that were created by analyzing authentic film prints from a toy camera and 120 film. Each effect offers a number of customizable parameters, such as color, light leaks, and vignette, and can be added to a film clip by dragging the effect from the FCP X Effects window. Red Giant Carousel works directly in FCP X and can be purchased online for $49.
