Electrix sound pack for Ableton
Canon has launched a new iOS application that allows users to print and scan directly from their mobile device. Canon Direct Print and Scan connects with imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER Advance systems, and includes support for directly printing e-mails, PDFs, and photos. Users can also scan documents and manage print finishing and scanning options, such as paper size selecting, scan resolution, duplex printing, and more.
Electrix released by Ableton and Sound Logic
Electrix, a new collection of instruments derived from real-world acoustic samples, synthesis, and physical modelling, has been launched by Ableton and Sound Logic. Within Ableton Live, Electrix is sorted into five sections containing 311 instruments and 75 audio loops. Each instrument uses Live's Rack format, with Macro controls mapped to useful filter, envelope and effects parameters, allowing users to quickly customize and tweak the sound. Electrix can be purchased online for $100.
