WD 2go adds Dropbox integration

Extensis has launched an update for its line of Universal Type Client font management plug-ins that adds support for Adobe CS6. The software is designed to help with the distribution, organization, and license compliance of fonts in creative workflows, and includes plug-ins for InDesign, Illustrator, and InCopy. A plug-in for Photoshop CS6 is also being prepared, however a current issue within Photoshop CS6 has delayed its release. A free trial can be downloaded for free, while a Lite license can be purchased online for $1395.

WD 2go gains Dropbox integration

An updated version of WD 2go, a mobile app that lets customers move, copy and share content between their mobile device and WD personal cloud, has been released in the App Store. New to this release is Dropbox integration, providing users with full access to their Dropbox account, and allowing files to quickly be moved between Dropbox and WD personal cloud. Other changes include the option to download files for offline viewing, tools for sharing files via e-mail, and the ability to automatically connect to WD personal cloud storage devices on the same Wi-Fi network.
