Lumia 910 could be Nokia's Windows Phone 8 flagship

910 shows up in Device Application Access program

Nokia's much rumored Lumia 910 handset could finally make an appearance later this year with the launch of Windows Phone 8. Dutch blog NieuweMobiel spotted the device listed among other devices in a Nokia app-testing program. Some observers view the 910 as likely a Lumia 900 variant that would run Windows Phone 7, but given the dead end phones on that OS will encounter later this year, it is possible that the Lumia 910 could see an upgrade to the new system.

Previous leaks about the Lumia 910 have pegged the phone at a 4.3-inch touchscreen with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor. The phone also is said to feature a 12MP camera, though it is unknown whether the 910 would be one of the Windows 8 PureView phones Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has previously hinted at.

The Lumia 910 has been popping up from time to time since January, when a tweet from a reliable source tipped its existence. Soon after, a Dutch retailer put up a listing for the device, with specifications. Nokia executives, though, soon dismissed the existence of any such device. Its appearance within Nokia's device app testing program appears to confirm that the 910 does exist in some form, though.
