Sega, Capcom, Warner Bros. add game offers
Following the announcement of the EA Mobile iOS sale on a wide selection of its games for iPhone and iPad, other developers have also been seen celebrating the US Independence Day holiday by putting some of their own iOS games on sale, resulting in savings of up to $6 on some titles. Among the deals that can be grabbed over the weekend are Super Monkey Ball games, Capcom arcade classics and Harry Potter titles.
Cult of Mac notes that Sega has put all three of its iOS Super Monkey Ball titles on sale, normally at $3 but now only $1. Titles include the original Super Monkey Ball, the sequel Super Monkey Ball 2, and the "Sakura Edition" of Super Monkey Ball 2. The last title is also available (and on sale) for Android. The sale prices are good until July 8.
Capcom has lowered the price on three of its titles, including Mega Man X (was $5, now $1), Street Fighter IV Volt (was $7, now $1) and Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting (was $5, now $1). The company has not said how long the sale will last.
Warner Brothers is also offering sale prices on several of its games, including Batman: Arkham City Lockdown (was $6, now $1), Harry Potter: Spells (was $3, now $1) and the two LEGO Harry Potter games, Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 (were $5 each, now $1 each). No details on how long the company will maintain the sale prices. [via Cult of Mac]
