Captuvo helps retailers combat showrooming
Honeywell announced today the release of the Captuvo SL22 encasement, which is aimed at giving retail agents increased information and capabilities on the showroom floor. The encasement combines with an iPod touch to create a retail tool with scanning technology and a magnetic stripe reader. Using it, retail agents can pull up additional information on items without having to take them back to a point-of-sale terminal. The Captuvo SL22 also allows for on-site purchasing and application of loyalty cards. Further information on the Captuvo SL22, including pricing and availability, is available at Honeywell's site.
