Handset to be costlier than its AT&T and Sprint doppelgangers

The Samsung Galaxy S III has now been priced over at T-Mobile USA, thanks to a leaked screenshot sent over to Engadget. It will cost significantly more than the $200 on a two-year contract for a new Galaxy S III at Sprint and AT&T. The 16GB version will cost $230 on a Value Plan contract, or $280 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a Classic Plan.

Subscribers already on the Classic Plan and eligible for an early upgrade can buy the handset for $450. Contract-free, though still locked to T-Mobile, the phone will cost $630 at T-Mobile. The handset will go on sale starting on June 21.

The phone sports a 4.8-inch, 720x1280 Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 4G and NFC radio, and Google Wallet support. The chip is a quad-core, 1.4GHz Cortex A9 unit paired with 1GB of RAM.
