NEC confirms Ivy Bridge processors in LaVie Z ultrabook

NEC has released specifications for its previously announced ultrabook PC, the LaVie Z. The 2.2-pound notebook with the 13.3-inch display will have the choice of either an i5-2.6GHz or i7-3GHz Ivy Bridge processor, all fitting inside the previously-noted lithium-magnesium alloy enclosure. The LaVie Z is still scheduled to come out this summer in Japan, but NEC hasn't said if it will bring the ultrabook to other markets.

Wahoo Fitness Blue SC outed

Wahoo Fitness have launched the Blue SC, a Bluetooth 4.0 bike speed and cadence sensor for iPhone. Connecting to the rear end of the bicycle frame, it pairs with the iPhone 4S and, with one of the many cycling-related apps in the App Store, can measure a wide range of data. Claimed to be waterproof to five feet, it can survive up to two years in a single charge. The Blue SC is on sale for $60.

Mad Catz sets Kunai headsets for Holidays

Mad Catz has outed a new line of gaming headsets. The Tritton Kunai headset, expected to be out by the holiday season, will be usable with the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and Playstation 3. No details relating to the specifications were made available, but there appear to be different color options available, including black and white versions.
